Railing restoration

Old ironwork deserves a second life.

Many older homes in Toronto have railings, gates and balconies that are worth saving. We take them back to the studio or work on site: broken scrolls are re-forged, missing castings are recast from new moulds, loose sections are straightened and re-anchored.

The railing is then refinished in black, bronze or gilt, so the old work and any new additions read as one.
