AlanJoe Blacksmith Studio Inc. is based in Port Perry, Ontario, making railings, gates and architectural metalwork by hand.

Our story

Fire, hammer and a mould of our own.

The studio began in 1990 with an anvil and a simple belief: objects made by hand, in honest materials, carry a presence that mass production cannot imitate.

Over the years our work grew from wrought iron gates and railings to bronze and brass, metals few workshops still dare to bend and finish by hand. Today custom bronze railings are our speciality, and wrought iron remains our foundation.

One habit has never changed: when we need a leaf, a bracket or a rosette that does not exist, we carve the pattern, make the mould and cast it ourselves. Each ornament is made for its house.

Our studio is in Port Perry, Ontario. We work across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and ship and install projects in Florida and throughout Canada and the United States.
